Just Another Mondays..

well okayy...its monday...my least favorite day of the week..woke up as usual..well maybe a little late..thanx to euro 2008 last night..yes!! i watched!! haha.. go spain!! go torres!! (what a coincidence that 9 is my fav number..haha)..but its not like im deeply into football now..it just so happen that my sister was watching it in my room last night..but atleast i know who won!! and i got really nervous and excited alsoo!!(thanx to afida..its been too long since we IM-ed each other) thats a good sign and im proud...yayy-ness!! ;p

but that is yesterday...today is monday which means bore-day! its almost 4.30pm now..and ive done nothing but enjoying my Fresh Prince of Bel Air marathon..and i think hilary is hilarious! haha...i mean how can u scratch a car with a potato???? hahahhahaha..and nicky grows so fast its confusing...but im still loving it!!

I'm Loving The 90's! I'm Loving The Music!

okays...so yesterday i was in the car with ed...on our way to UIA...listening to my collection of Boyz II Men...and we realized that nothing can top 90's music! (although it wasnt the first time the issue was brought up..haha)

anywhooooo.....rewinding to the 90's made recent music sounds so nonsensical...i mean..Boyz II Men sing "i'll make love to you"...Usher sings "i wanna make love in the club"....????...to me its preposterous...why would u wanna make love in a club?? they made it all seems like everything revolves around physical attraction between men and women (dont even get me started on the music videos)..but i believe in music with a whole lot more than just sex talk..no offense..

okay..i might sound a little 'racist' because some people may enjoy those 'club hits' with all the sexy talk..fine...they do turn out to be a bit catchy at times...'apple bottom jeans..boots with the fur'....dont get me wrong..i do listen to them sometimes...but i have to admit i got bored so easily listening to current music........okay..i still sound a little 'racist'.........okay another example...mariah carey...i have always loved her! and i still do! but if u asked me...i would rather listen to 'fantasy' or 'always be my baby' than 'touch my body'...not because of the content (we are so done on that one)...but because it is boring!!! okay..'touch my body' may seem too recent and too frequently played on the radio for me to get bored..'fantasy' or 'loverboy'....id still go for fantasy!! why cant they make good music anymore!!

another issue pointed out yesterday was 'Boy Band'...im proud to say that i was a huge fan of boybands (i love nsync! haha)..and i dont understand why there are no such boybands anymore (good ones i mean)...Simple Plan..Click 5...hello!! ur music are soooo boyband material!! dancing doesnt make u a wuss...and if u think playing instrument makes u cool...think again!!...bottom line....current music mostly reflects lust rather than affection...or...too boring...or...too forgetable...or...tooo stereotype...and is a reason why i kept listening to the oldies!!

somebody please step up and do something about it!!!
